Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Governed Assistant, an AI assistant for your website that answers only from information you approve, and the analytics that come with it.

Your account

You are responsible for your account, the people you invite, and keeping your password safe. You must be 18 or older and have authority to accept these terms for your business.

Your content

You own the knowledge, documents, data and website content you add. You give us permission to process it only to run the service for you. You must have the right to upload it, and you must not upload personal data you aren't allowed to share.

The assistant

The assistant answers from the knowledge you approve, cites its sources and hands questions it can't support to you. It is automated and can still make mistakes. Don't use it for medical, legal, financial or other decisions that need a professional, and review what it says to your customers.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service for anything unlawful, to mislead people, to send spam, or to try to break or overload it.

Plans and payment

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Plan & usage; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. If a usage limit is reached, the assistant pauses until the next period or an upgrade.

Ending

You can delete your workspace at any time from Workspace settings; this permanently deletes its data. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
